Real world examples of how iControl's technology helps YOU:
Always be certain ... iControl provides the flood prevention AND the information to make
decisions that prevent your basement from flooding. Having iControl's most capable
equipment is one thing. Add iControl's self-testing and notification capabilities, and
we're talking a whole new category of protection. Homeowners will now have REMOTE
ACCESS to their system anytime, from anywhere. If you're still not sure why this
matters, here's a couple scenarios:
EXAMPLE 1:
On March 1st, your pump fails. Would you like to know about this on March 1st, or during the next storm? How will you know unless you have an iControl or DataPump?
EXAMPLE 2:
Heavy rains have descended upon your neighborhood. Your electric pump is working fast and often. But the power goes out. Now it's all up to your backup pump. Do you still believe that all you need is that small, inexpensive system...? After all, you thought when selecting a system, "it's only a backup".
EXAMPLE 3:
You are at work, on vacation, or simply out shopping. It is storming back home and the iControl sump pump system sends your phone a message (text or email) that the backup pump has turned on. No need to panic. Using the web address provided in the message, you click directly to the iControl's embedded web page and about 5 seconds later, have 100% control of silencing/viewing alarms and status, running tests, changing settings, etc. You verify that the iControl's high output pump is cycling and protecting your basement. You continue your day without worry.
EXAMPLE 4:
Your babysitter calls, with the dog barking in the background, and is nervous because it's raining really hard and something in the basement started beeping. You use any internet connection (the one on your phone is easiest) to connect to the iControl and see what is causing the alarm. After determining that the built-in redundancy is once again saving your basement, you remotely silence the alarm for however long you want, and let the babysitter know everything's ok. You go back to your romantic dinner with your spouse. No more racing home to find that your popular hardware store system once again failed, and you have a disaster on your hands. Enjoy the important things in life.
EXAMPLE 5:
Your trusted plumber contacts you to let you know that the iControl dispatched him and disaster was averted. You had previously taken advantage of the iControl's 100% configurable setting and selected which urgent messages would authorize your most trusted contractor's immediate dispatch to your home. Automate any required response.
EXAMPLE 6:
You do not want to handle any correspondence or messages with the iControl system. You choose to subscribe to the iControl HouseSitter Service (coming soon). For a low annual fee, all messaging and decision making are handled by our monitoring facility. This service is fully redundant and self verifying. And with expandable features such as home security equipment, heating/cooling controls, and other various sensors, the PeakFlow iControl equipment and PeakFlow HouseSitter Service becomes your ultimate Peace Of Mind. Lower your stress level.
EXAMPLE 7:
It's 3am. You are upstairs in bed and hear an alarm from the basement. You pick up your mobile device off your bedstand and with just a few clicks you: silence the alarm, determine there is nothing needing urgent attention, and go back to sleep... all without getting out of bed. (better yet, you can configure non-urgent messages to leave you
alone at 3am!). Ultimate convenience.
With 43 gpm, the iControl pumps 30% faster than your electric sump pump and about 3 times as fast as that hardware store pump you heard was supposedly so great (the one everyone later complains about because they flooded anyway). And the iControl high output pump is 25% faster than the expensive stainless steel pump that people think is better just because it's stainless steel. If a pump has no technology, not even self-testing, and simply sits dormant. It has no idea if something ever goes bad, even if it's only 1 day old.
Far from having crucial internet connection technology, systems that don't even perform simple self testing (let alone notification and remote access!)... are old school and not qualified to protect your basement. |
